What I did to celebrate Halloween in 2018

Good Monday everyone! For anyone that knows me, I love Halloween. I love the aesthetic, the dressing up, the movies that come out. I don’t like really scary things or knocking on people’s doors expecting food, but I do love the effort people put in to Halloween-ify their houses. Because I was with @sebonthesilvermountain this week we did some stuff together. Below is an amalgamation of the things we did together to celebrate. Without further ado… here we go!

During the day we went to the ‘St. Albans BID’ event in town. We went a bit later than everyone else to avoid some of the crowds, but it seemed well attended. It was really nice to see people dressing up and enjoying themselves.

The cover art shows how crazy this game is – Lust for Darkness, Movie Games Lunarium, 2018

Lust for Darkness

Who doesn’t like dark mythos imbued with cults all around sex. I did enjoy this game but the ending was really meh. To me it’s like they spent all their money early on  and then had to rush it. The story was interesting though. Jonathon has to save his wife Amanda from a sex-cult where she’s been “held prisoner” for a year. There are weird demon things and lots of death and killing. It’s worth a play for a couple hours. Obviously it’s 300% NSFW and 18+ so no kids please!

Lucius I

Who doesn’t love being the son of the devil, riding your trike around your house and mercilessly killing people? Lucius (so far at least) is a really fun game. It’s some stealth, some magic, some mystery and a whole lot of fun. Did I mention riding around your whole house on a trike? It’s worth the few £ that it is on steam at the moment.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

#TBT last week when I reviewed the first two episodes of Sabrina. Well, I finished it finally and let me say – I loved it. Like I said last week, there were some pushy bits of agenda, but in the end I really liked what happened to the characters. I look forward to season 2!

Alas, Halloween is done for another year. I wonder what the next one will have in store for me!
